Finally, after a couple back-to-back seasons of subpar snow, the Southern Hemisphere is firing on the fresh snow front. That gave the Diaries Down Under crew plenty of excuses to drag a struggling Australian surfer, Blake Thornton, straight to NZ's infamous club fields for some soul surfing on the Earth and off of the area's plentiful cornices. Damn it looks fun!

With a proper land-bound session in the bag, the crew booked it to the coast to don winter suits and get Thornton back into his proper habitat–the ocean. Both New Zealand and Chile offer premium waves only a few hours from the mountains.
