In this video from Transworld Snowboarding, rider Eric Jackson and photographer explain Scott Serfas explain the story behind Transworld's February cover. Last year, Travis Rice called Jackson to accompany him to Alaska to film for his follow up project to Art of Flight. While out scouting potential zones, the pair flew over this massive natural step down, which sparked their curiosity. Upon further investigation, the lip was good to go, and and both riders sent it huge. Photographer Serfas explains how he maneuvered into position to grab the shot, which now graces the cover of the prestigious magazine. Complete with an original banjo tune from Jackson, this short provides interesting insight on this epic shot.
