Mervin Riders Flee PNW for Japow in "Let The Bird Fly"

Next Up

The Pacific Northwest had a rough winter. Limited snowfall and high temperatures forced several Washington and Oregon resorts to close. Some barely opened.

A handful of Lib Tech and GNU riders--including Blair Habenicht, Matt Edgers, Luc Strong, Temple Cummins, Kurt Jenson, and Kei Nakanishi--temporarily ditched the West Coast and headed on a powder-chasing mission to Japan. They must have timed their trip just right. A large percentage of the shots in "Let The Bird Fly" shows snow so deep you can hardly see the riders' faces.

If you want to remember what winter can be like, set aside 8 minutes for this.
