In this episode of The Other Side, Kotsenburg talks about the learning curve he experienced as he transition from exclusively riding in comps to chasing snow.

He explains that, unlike contest riding, there isn't a ceiling on what you can do in the backcountry. "You almost can't win," he said. "There's always a gnarly line, a steeper face, a bigger jump to build."
