TGR Welcomes Brian Cousins As Head Of Merchandising

Teton Village, Wyoming - Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is pleased to announce that Brian Cousins has officially joined TGR as Head of Merchandising. As co-founder of Cloudveil Mountain Works in Jackson, Wyoming, Cousins comes to TGR with extensive retail experience and a highly regarded reputation within the industry. In his new position, Cousins will be responsible for all aspects of TGR’s apparel and accessories offerings, from creative direction, to product development, sourcing, distribution and customer service.

As an entrepreneur with more than 12 years of experience in operations, finance, product development, sales, marketing and executive leadership, Cousins’ expertise and knowledge will help expand TGR’s brand footprint.

Cousins founded the technical outerwear company, Cloudveil in 1997 and brought it to the global level by pioneering the “softshell” category of outerwear, building a highly respected brand in the outdoor market. Throughout Cousins’ tenure at Cloudveil, the company experienced tremendous growth, from a year-one base of thirteen specialty accounts and eight products, to over two hundred products, four hundred specialty accounts, and over $19M in global revenues by 2009. In addition to his accomplishments at Cloudveil, Cousins served two terms as a member of the board of directors for the Outdoor Industry Association and was a member of the inaugural “40 under 40” class, recognizing the top 40 sporting goods executives under the age of 40.
