TGR's Grom Comp 2018 is Underway and We're Looking For Our Film Star

Next Up

Teton Gravity Research is proud to announce the 2018 edition of our annual Grom Comp is underway, and we're looking for the next up-and-coming ski/snowboard star and hoping you have what it takes to join the ranks of past winners like Parkin Costain, Max Meza and Seth Klein.

You can read up on the rules over at the Grom Comp homepage, but they're exceedingly simple. So long as you were under the age of 18 on March 21, 2018, start stacking up your clips, put together the best edit you can muster, create a Stash account and upload your video. Then, if you really want to catch our eye, share a teaser of your edit on Instagram and tage @tetongravity while using the hashtag #tgrgrom. That's it.

Former Grom Comp winner Max Meza has been making waves since winning last year's contest. Max Meza photo.

We'll be accepting submissions until 11:59 p.m. on June 30 and announcing weekly and monthly winners as well as two grand prize winners whose edits we will show at each stop on our film tour. If you're looking for a springboard to get some attention in the ski or snowboard industry, here it is.

So get after it, send that line you've been looking at all winter, and brush up on those filming skills. We're eagerly awaiting your submissions.
