It is a special breed who base their passions around East Coast powder. Exceedingly rare, often rained up or missing entirely, getting deep faceshots on the right side of the country has always been a special challenge. But a small band of snowboarders in Vermont led by the Huffman brothers–including former big-name pro Lukas Huffman–seeks it however they can, even if it's just a 100 vertical-foot face in a sandpit.
Nonetheless, the East Coast winter last year was record deep in many places, and snow totals in parts of the Green Mountain state topped those of major zones out West. And great edits like these remind us how little we really need to have a great time sliding on snow.
