54-year-old Steve Klassen can't seem to step away from the Freeride World Tour. In 1994 the seasoned big mountain snowboarder won the inaugural Xtreme Verbier—which has now become the Verbier stop of the FWT. It seems like time only matures your ability to handle gnar, because Klassen returned this year to Switzerland as a wildcard.

Apparently, Verbier was supposed to have a masters division, but everyone dropped out except for Klassen. Still keen to compete, he ended up joining the real line up and held his own. Check out his gnarly line from 2003:
