We all remember when 18-year-old Andri Ragettli landed the world's first quad-cork 1800 at Nine Royals back in 2017. His record amount of spins remained unchallenged until this January, when Swiss freeskier Fabian Bösch landed a quad-1980 during a training run at the X Games:
Bösch's wasn't pretty, but it one-upped the previous record by a half-rotation. Ragettli picked up the gauntlet and laced up an indubitably cleaner 1980 at this year's Audi Nines. The march towards futurespin continues. In the immortal words of Tom Wallisch: "Get spinnin', get paid!"
