We’ve still got two more days untill Redbull Joyride, but thankfully to hold us over the athletes have been practicing on the course for us to watch. With no crowds and a relaxed atmosphere, training sessions are almost as good as the premiere event itself. This year the course is on point. “It’s really good,” explained Diego Caverzasi as he waited for the shuttle back to the top. Course designers were mindful of the fact that many athletes suffered crashes from last year’s event, and so for this year the course has impeccable flow. With Semenuk absent from the competition, it will be interesting to see who steps up to the plate to fill his place.
