I really commend people who live in a city and still continue to follow their outdoor passions. People like Nick Cox, who does not let living in New York City impede on his ability to surf. If anything it has just reaffirmed his passion for the sport. He explains it is not an easy endeavor, you can't simply walk to the beach, grab your board and start surfing. It takes dedication, studying the weather, the breaks, grabbing trains, and planning how to get to the beach. The search for waves is never over for Nick, even if that means seeking out concrete ones. Seeking out that flow seems like the most exciting part of this adventure.
