For the latest iteration of our Ask Me Anything series, where you get to ask pros, avalanche forecasters, and wilderness medics any question you want, we'll be chatting with freeskiing legend Mike Douglas from 4-7 MST this Thursday, January 29th, right here in the TGR Forums. If you were born after the year 2010 or recently suffered head trauma falling out of a moving vehicle, the name might not sound as familiar, but for the rest of us, having Mike D. on the site is a damn big deal. The guy was a founding member of the New Canadian Air Force, was an instrumental part in getting one of the very first and certainly the most significant twin-tip skis to market (the Salomon 1080), invented the D-Spin, was featured in many Poorboyz and Matchstick films, announced at the X Games, and since founding Switchback Entertainment in the early 2000's, has been producing beautiful videos for Salomon Freeski TV and a host of other projects.
If you want to join the party, log onto the thread in the TGR Forums (and be sure to create a profile ahead of time if you don't already have one), and ask away. Then come back this Thursday at 4 PM MST for Mike's answer to your prying questions. A big thanks to Mike for taking the time with us this week!
