Never heard of Isabel Clark? Split Andes is a pretty apt introduction. In this two-minute edit for Flux Veho Mountain Film Festival, the Brazilian, two-time Olympian ditches the boardercross course to lay out deep, gorgeous powder turns.
Though relatively unknown in the U.S., Clark is arguably the best female freeride snowboarder the Southern Hemisphere has ever produced. Here's hoping that this veteran comp rider follows in the footsteps of other big mountain greats like Xavier de la Rue and turns to filming in the backcountry after she puts up the race board.
