Mid-June Powder Day at Grand Targhee

Next Up

After months of writing stories on the late-season storms which have been slamming Colorado, we're happy to report that the Tetons are yet again the best place to score powder in the Mountain West. Seems like a bold claim, but we've got evidence to back it up: Powderchaser Steve. Steve is the founder of Powderchasers, a group of avid skiers/meteorologists who put together forecasts for deep-snow enthusiasts. He always knows where to find the powder, so his presence is a near-foolproof indicator of best-in-region snow conditions.
