November 9, 2011 KLI?T is psyched to announce the addition of big mountain skier Erik Roner to its stable of athletes. "I’m excited to be joining the KLI?T team, and I'm looking forward to helping the growth and direction of this passionate company," Roner said. Roner will be a part of a unique collaboration between KLI?T and Rockstar Energy. "I like to step outside the box and push the envelope," Roner said. "I have had a great relationship with Rockstar for more that two years now, so when the opportunity came to expand our relationship and ride the new Rockstar branded KLI?T skis this winter, I was all over it. It is a great way to introduce some innovative new Rockstar graphics and programs combined with the magical performance of KLI?T skis!" Roner is no stranger to TV and film. He is featured on the MTV show Nitro Circus with Travis Pastrana, where he is known for his skiing and BASE jumping stunts. He has been busy filming for the launch of a new Nitro Circus 3D movie for more than a year. His skiing ability has been showcased for more than seven years in Teton Gravity Research films, appearing in "Under The Influence," "Lost And Found," "Anomaly," "The Tangerine Dream," "Soul Purpose," "High Life," "Harvest," "Salad Days," "Light The Wick" and "One For The Road." Roner summed up his feelings about his new Rockstar Energy-KLI?T skis saying, "I skied on the KRYPTO in South America this summer and was really impressed with its qualities. The ski is quick, easy to turn and very playful...but will hold an edge in adverse conditions if you commit. I can’t wait for the winter!!"
