Wouldn't you like to quit school, give your boss the finger, and pack only the essentials to live in northern Japan for the winter?
That's exactly what Vimeo user and professional ski bum Charlie Cornish did last December.
With a profile that describes him as a "Canadian mountain and partying enthusiast," the young lad from Toronto scored a seasonal ski bum job at Black Diamond Lodge in Japan's powder capital, Niseko.
Charlie's winter edit shows just how much ungodly powder can be had by those willing to take the initiative and ski every day in this disgustingly snowy, mountain community.
The video is a mix of the Niseko United Resort, backcountry, and small Hokkaido resorts like Kokusai, Rusutsu, and Asihidake reached via Japan road trips.
It's worth mentioning that a whole lot of fun people came together to appear in this edit, including ski bums from New Zealand, Bozeman, MT, and from all corners of the great country of Canuckistan.
