SNOWBOMB ACQUIRES INDUSTRY INNOVATOR LIFTTICKETS.COM LLC
Lake Tahoe (CA)– SnowBomb.com, the world’s first online lift ticket distribution channel, has recently acquired LiftTickets.com LLC for an undisclosed amount. LiftTickets.com is the newest and most technologically advanced company to begin offering online lift tickets within the ski industry. “The acquisition of LiftTickets.com combines levels of technology that we’ve been interested in, and their system is second to none. Strategically this puts us at the front of the pack in terms of the products we have to offer our clients. It also improves our East Coast presence.” said Jim McAlpine, President and Founder of SnowBomb.
The announcement was made at the NSAA conference in Utah this week. “NSAA is the perfect venue to announce the news to our resort partners.” said McAlpine. “Distribution channels have been on all resort radars lately. We have the industry experience, the tools, and the technology to improve exposure and gain targeted marketing data.” He continued.
LiftTickets.com was launched only 2 months ago but already has almost 30 resort partners and 30,000 Facebook fans. Mike Pollock, founder of LiftTickets.com was also pleased at this acquisition. “My goal for LiftTickets.com from the beginning was to build a site that would lead this category in the ski industry,” said Pollock. “I think putting our platform into the hands of McAlpine and his team is the best way to make that happen.”
With millions of dollars in ticket sales, SnowBomb is already a leading force in the online ticket segment.
