"unReal" Front Flip Wins Pinkbike's Trick of the Year Award

Next Up

This past summer, Teton Gravity Research descended on Turtle Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming for the first shoot of unReal, a mountain bike film we're making in collaboration with Anthill Films. Some heavy riding went down, including a 70 foot front from Canadian madman Tom van Steenbergen. The trick was voted by Pinkbike users as the Best Trick of 2014, narrowly beating out Szymon Godziek's Backflip Tsunami by only 2% of the final vote, but still handily beating Cam Zink's insane 100-foot backflip at Mammoth Mountain this summer.

Congratulations Tom and be sure to check out behind the scenes story of the Turtle Ranch shoot and the first episode of the making of unReal, and click here to see more badass videos of Tom's riding.
