When I first read that Japanese alpinist Yuichiro Miura skied Mount Everest in 1970 using a parachute to slow his speed, I pictured a controlled, successful descent - albeit a strange one. I mean, who decides to use a parachute over making turns? But now that "The Man Who Skied Down Everest" documentary exists on YouTube in its entirety, we can all easily watch and see what really happened. Jump ahead to the end and watch this guy wreck in what may be one of the most epic yardsales off all time. This also may be the most idiotic stunts ever performed in the Himalaya. Highly entertaining!
