Drew Petersen hadn’t really spent much time out here in our backyard resort—Jackson Hole Mountain Resort—when he decided to drop by for a week.
For those of you who are like Petersen and have never made the trek out, the experience is rather hard to encapsulate in written word. I mean where do I begin? Over 4,000ft of vert; an average annual snowfall of 450 inches; some of the steepest inbounds terrain in the U.S. That playful combination makes for some of the best skiing to be had. Instead of listening to me jabber on about it, just go watch Petersen finding the goods with fellow Salomon athlete, Tigger Knect.
In just the week out here, Petersen got a little taste of everything that’s delightful about JHMR. A Corbet’s Couloir drop, a hike up Cody Peak, and of course some deep deep DEEP storm skiing. So thanks for popping by, I'm assuming the next stay will be longer—let's say a month?
